Staghorn Sumac
Rhus typhina
by Samantha
Plush branches full of bright green leaves and clusters of rich red
berries often grow in groves along eastern United States. In the winter
, when all of the leaves have fallen off, the shape and texture will look
like a wild stags' horns. But in the winter the wild berries remain on
the tree providing a very good tasting lemony drink.
