The Burrowing Owl

By Coriann

Surly birds like to fly and purch in tree branches rather than to be in a dark whole and cramped.

But not all birds. Burrowing owls live in a burrow. But they don't dig a burrow. They use an emty one or steal one from another animal. They live in the dry grass lands. There are no trees for perching in so they shelter and raise their chicks in a burrow.Burrowing owls hunt at night and sleep in the day.
