Jellyfish

As you are swimming through the ocean peacefully, you suddenly feel a strong sting up your spine. You think it's nothing, so you keep on swimming. But then, you feel tentacles wrapping around you. Soon the stinging gets stronger and stronger and hurts even more. And then you finally realize that you have been stung by a East Coast Sea Nettle jellyfish.

These are what people all over the world have to look out for in the deep of the ocean. and some don't even have stinging cells like Thleidy's Comb jelly. But some, like the Lion's Mane jellyfish, which can reach up to 200 feet long, have been know to kill. but don't worry, jellyfish usually eat small fish, plankton, and other jellyfish. but don't just go swimming in the ocean without looking first. Also, some jellyfish can be 6-feet wide. over 200 species of jellyfish have been discovered, and they are all invertebrates. Well thank you for joining me and letting me tell you about jellyfish. So, a friendly warning from Matthew to watch out!
